Mel, Martin, Nabi and I went to the istana to watch the acsi and acsib band perform and i got heat injury. Partly coz i was standing in the sun for too long and i didn't drink much water. My vision started blurring, my hearing started to go, i started turning pale and before i knew it, i was on the verge of blacking out. So they had to move me to somewhere with shade. It was such a horrible experience.. i could feel the blood draining from my head. I had a most terrible time getting out of the istana because i sorta collapsed twice on the way out. Thanks so much to mel, martin and nabi for taking care of me.. so sorry for messing up your istana visit.. you guys didn't get to look around much and i know it was quite embarrassing to have me collapsing on the way out. Thank you nabi and martin for the shoulders and mel and nabi for the apple juice. =)
After that i went to chinatown for reunion dinner with my dad's side of the family. We had vegetarian yu sheng... check out the 'salmon'
But it doesn't taste as good as it looks.. it was tasteless and had the texture of rubber..
and look at the abalone.. guess whether it's real or fake... haha my cousin saw it and he was like "eh.. this one definitely must take photo." Anyway, i pretty much lost my appetite after the heat injury incident and i spent dinner stoning at my food. Oh well.. HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR PEOPLE! COLLECT LOTSA ANG BAOS, EAT LOTSA FOOD AND GET FAT!!! =)

Choices have consequences...Many times we do things without thinking of the consequences. We act as we please, without checking our behaviour and considering the implications of our actions. We might end up hurting ourselves or worse, others. There are 2 ways you can learn a lesson.. 1. by learning from others' mistakes 2. by learning from your own mistakes.. and yes.. the latter is always the more painful option.. but it's amazing that many people actually pick that option. Well, i learnt my lesson the hard way. So next time before I make a choice, I will think of how it will affect others and the possible consequences. I hope i'll be able to live out what i just mentioned.
